Inge van Ulden draagt voor uit haar filosofische essay De terugkeer van Sophia, een 'geïnspireerd onderzoek naar de metafysische achtergrond van de huidige crisis'.

Pamela Koevoets (die al in januari op het programma stond, maar toen door de hevige sneeuwval was verhinderd) vormde ooit de helft van de The Bam-sisters. Daarnaast was ze filmactrice, o.m. in Een dagje naar het strand en drie films van Adriaan Ditvoorst.
Als schrijfster debuteerde ze in 1985 met Ode, drie verhalen die zich in de wereld van het theater afspelen. Dit gold ook haar eerste roman, de zwarte komedie Bazen en slaven uit 1991.
Recentelijk verscheen van haar De Himalaya Roos, een 'queeste naar verlichting waarin ze zich verdiept in de aloude tradities op "het dak van de wereld" en beproeft wat we daar nu mee kunnen.'




Jan van Aken schrijft 'kosmopolitische historische romans met grote diepgang' en is al vergeleken met Umberto Eco. In De dwaas van Palmyra beschrijft hij leven & werk van de enigmatische Apollonius van Tyana uit het begin van onze jaartelling.
Uit 2005 dateert Het fluwelen labyrinth, waarin een jongeman op zoek gaat naar z'n lost love. Een mythologische onderwereld schurkt hier knus aan tegen de grauwe werkelijkheid van het Amsterdam uit de jaren tachtig met z'n methadon, vage kraakpandjes en gesmolten carrière-perspectieven.

URBAN ARCHITECTURE

'CITIES is a foundation for re-envisioning future of agriculture, food distribution and consumption in Amsterdam. Its online urban agriculture platform Farmingthecity.net was launched in March 2011.
They have been working on this project for the past year, setting up UA projects, interviewing everyone involved in UA in Amsterdam, organizing events, and mapping UA activities. The platform deals with practical issues and regulations, provide maps, data and information about available and unused lots, and connect different players in the UA field, in order to take urban agriculture in Amsterdam to the next level.
With the Amsterdam Youth Food Movement CITIES has been working with the municipality of Amsterdam to find practical ways to continue food programmes and projects supported by Proeftuin Amsterdam's 4-year food policy.'
